From 1987 to 1990, Pat worked with Goodwill Industries, the largest rehabilitation company in the world. At Goodwill Industries he directed the vocational evaluation clinic. In the following years, Pat worked as a private rehabilitation consultant, a case manager (CCM), and/or a Vocational Evaluator (CVE) with companies such as Comprehensive Rehabilitation Associates, Vocational Rehabilitation Management, and Armstrong & Associates. Pat went on to start Expert Assessments, LLC and a separate firm, Clifford Vocational Services.
Over the years, Patrick Clifford has conducted thousands of vocational evaluations and assessments. He has successfully handled cases for insurance companies such as Aetna, Travelers, EMC, Royal, CNA, Kemper, Harleysville, CIGNA, and St. Paul. He is an experienced expert witness and has testified in landmark cases such as Ruiz v. Belk Masonry where his vocational evaluation won out over the opinion of the injured party’s own treating MD.

Dr. Taub graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California - San Diego. Dr. Taub has long served as a respected member of the medical community. Since 1989 he has been invited to publish and/or present his work on more than 15 occasions at meetings such as the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. In addition to serving as the Medical Director for CMC - Mercy Rehabilitation Center since 1992, Dr. Taub has worked as a Medical Director at Meadowhaven Rehab and Specialty Care Center, the Medical Director for American Transitional Care, and the President of SafetyPro Corporation. His honors and distinctions include the 1987 award of P/SL Foundation Grant for medical research and the 1987 Lewis Leavitt Award for Physical Medicine Rehabilitation. Dr. Taub is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. |
